Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

DevForge is a personal project. This policy is straightforward because the data practices are straightforward.

01

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google OAuth. We store only what is necessary to identify your account and associate your saved data (pinned tools, preferences, saves) with it. We do not collect passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Google.

02

How we use it

Your email and name are used solely to: • identify you across sessions • display your name in the UI • associate your workbench saves and preferences with your account We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the product.

03

Data storage

Account data is stored in a private PostgreSQL database. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties. Tool sessions and saves remain private to your account.

04

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. No tracking cookies. No third-party advertising cookies. You can clear your session by signing out or clearing browser cookies.

05

Third-party services

Authentication is handled by Google OAuth. When you use the AI Chat feature, your messages are sent to the AI provider you select (e.g. Anthropic for Claude, OpenAI for GPT-4o, Google for Gemini). Each provider processes your messages under their own privacy policy. We do not store AI conversation content beyond your session. We do not integrate analytics, advertising SDKs, or data brokers.

06

Your rights

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us via the support page. We will process deletion requests within 7 days.

07

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date below. Continued use of the product after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
